Huntress of the Hollow is about a girl named Lenora, who started off as a girl who knew nothing of hunting, forced into fending off wolf attacks in her village. The game starts off with Lenora planning to pay a visit to her grandmother's place outside the village. Wolves attacked the village and she has to fight her way to look for the Huntsman, who protects the village in case of these situations. However, there is a twist at the ending and the your decisions alters the endings.

The background musics are cool and calm, very suiting for the situations and are there to give that extra bit of feel for the game. I think what I loved the most about the music is that it changes pace in different maps. The most fitting soundtrack I would say is after you spared Alpha Wolf (the wolf you were meant to kill) when you were running back to the Huntsman's Cabin (Lee Rosevere - I trusted you). All the other soundtracks are amazing too, like the music in Bonus Room (Lee Rosevere - music to brush your teeth), it's like a music box and electronic mash-up or something.

Each map are separated by colors in this game and everything will be based on the color of that map. I noticed that when you interact with the villagers in Pokeweed Hollow, they will say different things each time you interact with them (for a few times, just a few different lines), before the wolves attacked the village. Combat in the game is in real time (the longer time you spend on thinking your attacks, you get hit) but the pacing is just fine. The game is not hard in whatsoever way too. It is less competitive and is more smooth going with the story play (HP and PP consumables can be drop/found almost everywhere) as combat is not entirely necessary (you can just avoid all the wolves, except those you are forced to fight).
If you enjoy non-competitive, story based, mild horror with good soundtracks. Huntress of the Hollow is definitely worth your time.
